At Elizabeth South Primary School we are aware of the many complexities modern families face, and as such we embrace child-centred trauma-informed practise as the foundation of our teaching and learning. We continue to embed the Berry Street Education Model into everything we do. This includes common language, common routines throughout the school and common ways of interacting with students and staff. Strong, trusting and honest relationships are developed and nurtured between all staff, students and families based on understanding and compassion. This provides a calming, consistent and welcoming environment for all.
