Governing council

Parents and carers can get involved in the school by becoming a member of the Governing Council. This elected body includes parents/carers, a nominated staff representative, a community representative and members of the leadership team.

The Governing Council:

• takes an interest in the education of the children
• discusses resource distribution with the Principal to meet the needs of the school and community
• works in partnership with the school to develop policies and initiatives.

To join the Governing Council, you must hold a valid Working with Children Check.
